Dieser Kompendium dient speziell dem Erzähler (Game Master) als wertvolle Unterstützung bei der Gestaltung spannender Kampagnen und Szenarien, indem er zusätzliche Hintergrundinformationen, Regeln und Spielhilfen bietet.

Im Grundspiel übernehmen die Spieler die Rollen sterblicher Jäger, die übernatürliche Gefahren wie Vampire, Werwölfe und andere Wesen der Dunkelheit bekämpfen. Das System basiert auf erzählerischem Gameplay mit taktischem Würfeln, wobei zehnseitige Würfel (W10) zum Einsatz kommen, um Aktionen abzubilden.
