Diese Gebilde aus Gips und Papiermaché sollen an den menschlichen Körper angelegt werden; sie treten mit dem Nutzer in Interaktion. Seit diesem Zeitpunkt schafft West Objekte, deren Benutzung wesentlicher Faktor der Rezeption ist. Eine konsequente Weiterentwicklung der Idee der Passstücke sind seit den frühen achtziger Jahren Möbelskulpturen und "Sitzgeräte" wie Sessel und Liegen. Um eine neue Erfahrungssituation herzustellen, installiert er seine metallenen Möbelobjekte später auch an öffentlichen Plätzen. »Franz West. Gnadenlos« zeigt ausschließlich Werke der letzten Jahre, die bisher kaum zu sehen waren. Im Mittelpunkt der Präsentation steht neben neuesten Arbeiten eine raumgreifende Installation, die West eigens für die Ausstellung im MAK, Wien entwickelt hat und die seine bisher größtdimensionierte Arbeit darstellt. This book has a lot of interesting information about the field of nursing. Taking this class as a hybrid this book has the in-depth information that PowerPoints usually don’t include. I advise everyone to read this book even after class is over…read it!

Easy read
Format: Paperback
I purchased it for school of course. I’m also taking Psych and Med Surg lll right now. I’ll say that knowing I had to read this book was a big turn off for me as I only wanted to focus on the other courses I felt were more important and thought this book/ class was of no need. Now that I’m a week out from my first exam and have to play catch up on 5 chapters, lol, I will say the book is written in a way that what they’re conveying comes off as quite interesting. There’s no boredom to it at all. So I’d say kudos to the writer… because they did their big one!
