This versatile tripod kit from B&H Photo pairs the Manfrotto MT055CXPRO4 Carbon Fiber Tripod with the 496RC2 Compact Ball Head . This kit provides a stable camera support with a load capacity of 13.2 lb. It extends from 3.5" to 70.8" and weighs 5.5 lb. The 90° center column has a one-finger operation, and includes an Easy Link 3/8"-16 attachment for attaching accessories such as an LED light or a reflector via a compatible arm. The mounting plate has a bull's eye bubble level that rotates 360° so you can locate it where you can see it.
The included 498RC2 Compact ball head is constructed of die-cast aluminum, and has a locking lever for the ball and a separate lock for the 360° panning, as well as friction control for precise positioning. The RC2 quick release has a safety system to prevent the plate from accidentally detaching from the head.

The Manfrotto MT055CXPRO4 Carbon Fiber Tripod is a 4-section support that replaces the 055CXPRO4 tripod. It has a load capacity of 19.8 lb and extends from 3.5" to 66.9". Its carbon fiber legs are secured by the Quick Power Locks. These updated flip locks increase the tripod's rigidity by 50% compared to its predecessor.
A redesigned center column has a "one finger" operation, and includes an Easy Link 3/8"-16 attachment for attaching accessories such as an LED light or a reflector via a compatible arm. The center column can be positioned horizontally, allowing for low-angle and macro photography. The upper disc where a tripod head is mounted has been redesigned as well, and now has a bull's eye bubble level that rotates 360° so you can locate it where you can see it. The Manfrotto 496RC2 Compact Ball Head with RC2 Quick Release is constructed of die-cast aluminum, strong enough to support SLR or DSLR cameras with a medium lens, and light medium format cameras. It has a single repositionable locking lever, ±90° tilt movement, plus a friction control for precise positioning. Cameras are attached to the ball head with the 200PL-14 Plate with 1/4'' male threads. The head to tripod attachment has 3/8'' female threads. Additionally, the Quick Release has a safety system to prevent an accidental detaching from the head.
