I love the differences in cultures. It is something I get off on and is why I love going to buy in India so much. Unlike so many other countries & cultures, they really don't care about us! They have their own cinema, own history and are A.O.K. them being them.
But the subtle language issue cracks me up. The color of this rug is "Pond Scum". Not a very sexy name in the U.S. But of course I had to use it;)
For years I brought in several different metal rooster decorative accessories. Painted in a variety of ways. On my container invoices, they always referred to it as "Iron Cock". Need I say more? But I will. For some of the rooster designs there was "Iron Cock Small", "Iron Cock Large", etc..
