The MT190X3 is a 3-leg-section aluminum tripod adjustable between ground level and a maximum height of 63". It has a ground-level adapter instead of a center column to allow the tripod's mounting plate to sit just 3.5" above the ground when the legs are set to their widest angle. Each leg can be positioned at four different angles to compensate for uneven ground or rough terrain.
The 502HD is a sturdy, professional fluid video head that offers an 8.8 lb counterbalance capacity and otherwise supports payloads up to 13 lb. Its balance plate is adjustable across a 3.27" range to allow you to correct for payloads that may be uneven due to matte boxes or other large accessories. This head features Manfrotto's patented bridging technology that ensures that pan friction control is intuitive and easy to set and also protected against knocks.

The Manfrotto MT190X3 Aluminum Tripod is an addition to the popular 190 series, adding a Quick Power Lock System, ground level adapter, and an Easy Link attachment. It can hold up to 15.4 lb of gear, and has a maximum height of 63". The ground-level adapter replaces the center column to allow the tripod's mounting plate to sit just 3.5" above the ground with the legs at their widest angle.
The QPL system allows the three leg sections to be completely extended with one hand for simple set up. An Easy Link adapter attachment allows instant connection between tripod and accessories, such as LED lights for macro photography and DSLR video applications using Manfrotto articulated arms and brackets. The Manfrotto 502HD Pro Video Head with Flat Base (3/8"-16 Connection) is an affordable yet remarkably full-featured professional head that represents an advance over the popular 501HDV, with sturdier construction and featuring Manfrotto's patented bridging technology (inherited from the 509HD and 504HD heads). This head is designed for executing cinematic moves with compact camcorders and DSLR video cameras. The 502HD comes in two versions: the "AH" flat-base version, which this one is, and the "A" ball-base version, which is separately available.
Weight capacity is 15.4 lb and counterbalance supports 8.8 lb. The balance plate's 3.27" range allows you to correct for uneven payloads that might be due to matte boxes or exotic DSLR rig configurations.
The bridging technology ensures that the pan friction control is intuitive and easy to set, but also protected against knocks. There are of course independent locks for pan and tilt, and drag for both is selectable in a continuous range from zero to the max level. This allows you to operate the head in a confident, smooth manner using the included pan bar.
