Fashion: an Anthology by Cecil Beaton, was displayed at the Victoria and Albert Museum, London from October 1971 to January 1972. Beaton procured from wealthy and stylish friends (mostly female) carefully selected glamourous gowns (often haute couture), and designers were asked for ensemble as well. In the end, he had gathered for the museum over 800 individual items, of which about a third was displayed. The exhibition designer Michael Haynes worked with Beaton to construct a modern, yet elegant and romantic vision of fashion.

In October 1971 the exhibition Fashion. An Anthology by Cecil Beaton opened at the Victoria and Albert Museum in London. Several months earlier Beaton had proposed to the V&A’s director John Pope-Hennessy that he would form, on behalf of the museum, ‘a collection of those dresses that he most admired.’ Beaton spent many hours persuading friends, acquaintances and designers to donate clothes that represented the best of twentieth-century couture. The resulting show set a new standard for fashion exhibitions and led to a substantial enlargement of the museum’s fashion collection. The accompanying catalogue features an introduction and photographs by Beaton.

Fascinating look at Bitcoin privacy
Format: Kindle
This is a great look at what Bitcoin is and isn’t. The misconceptions about it gave rise to tools to track it, leading to the high profile cases Greenberg covers in the book. Not a highly technical book, but there are enough references to papers and authors to find out more. Very cool,

Excellent non-fiction cryptocurrency sleuth story.
Format: Paperback
I thought this book was an excellent non-fiction account about how a team of "Cyber-Investigators" tracked and took down several criminals using Bitcoin for drug deals and other nefarious activities. The book read like a novel. I enjoyed it and had trouble putting it down.

The watermelon seed
Format: Hardcover, Format: Hardcover
Bought this book for my daughters first birthday. The theme was one in a melon so I thought it would be cute to have everyone who attended her party to write her a little message. I will be putting this in her time capsule for her to open things we have gathered through the years. This was the perfect book for what was needed. The story is so cute and my older kiddos like the book as well!
