Once you have updated your original (and failure-prone) Delta Six faucet with a modern, super reliable Shurflo faucet, grab this kit to enable the city water functionality. This special check-valve tee prevents the city water hookup from pressurizing your onboard water tank. The check valve that is in the hookup itself ensures that the water makes its way to the faucet, and not to the outside of your van when the in-tank pump is activated.

When you activate the faucet with the city water attached it DOES NOT allow the use of in-tank water. You will hear the pump running, but don't worry: it won't damage the pump at all (we contacted the pump manufacturer to be sure!).

By advertising they were "rawhide free" I assumed they'd be a little longer lasting (like a rawhide replacement). It's not a big deal because they're not expensive, but they don't last long once I give them to my dogs. I don't like the smell much, but I'm pregnant and more smell-sensitive than most now. My husband doesn't seem as bothered by the smell, so they might not be too bad for most people. The smell isn't bad enough that I wouldn't repurchase, but I think I'd probably choose something else since they don't last long and I was looking for something to keep the dogs busy for at least a few minutes.
