This timber has been air dried and seasoned for 6 years and has reached an EMC of 8%.

Blemishes/Defects: small inclusion can be avoided, see photo. LP outline is guaranteed. Can avoid sap if desired.

Although these features can pervay uniqueness and authenticity they may also be seen as imperfect by some. We have made every effort to highlight any blemishes or defects as best as we can. By advertising they were "rawhide free" I assumed they'd be a little longer lasting (like a rawhide replacement). It's not a big deal because they're not expensive, but they don't last long once I give them to my dogs. I don't like the smell much, but I'm pregnant and more smell-sensitive than most now. My husband doesn't seem as bothered by the smell, so they might not be too bad for most people. The smell isn't bad enough that I wouldn't repurchase, but I think I'd probably choose something else since they don't last long and I was looking for something to keep the dogs busy for at least a few minutes.
