Build - Carbon Core w/ Pure Composite Layering: Introduced with the SLR4 Pro Carbon pads, Vaughn's new Carbon core material reinforces the pads' core for a rigid feel and stronger rebounds, without adding excess weight. To rebound with a strong and long-lasting pop, the SLR4 Pro Carbon leg pad cores are layered atop with Vaughn's Pure Composite.
- Medium Flex w/ Single Internal Break: Vaughn's SLR4 Pro Carbon pads are built around their medium flex core, with a single internal break below the knee. On ice, their medium, single-break core offers a rigid feel with a bit more flex in the thighs.
- Solid, Low-Profile Outer Roll: The SLR4 Pro Carbon leg pads feature a solid outer roll, with a low-profile bevel to keep the pads rigid while helping to reduce skip-over.

Leg Channel & Boot - Medium Flex, Scoop-Shaped Boot: Carried over from the SLR3 PC pads, Vaughn's scoop-shaped boot offers a wide butterfly and good post coverage, with a good balance of flex. Additionally, the SLR4 PC pads are built with a flat instep; sitting higher on the skates and reducing binding for quick and smooth pad rotation.
- Widened, Molded Foam Knee Cradle: Widened over their previous SLR3 PC pads, the SL4 PC pads' knee cradle offers improved rotation with more room for the knee. To further improve their rotation, the SLR4 Pro Carbon leg pads are standard with a molded foam knee cradle and removable outer wing.
- Widened Calf Plates w/ QuickSlide: The SLR4 Pro Carbon pads feature Vaughn's Balance Stabilizer inner edge panels, widened over the previous SLR3 PC pads to improve butterfly stability. Wrapped in Vaughn's QuickSlide for quick and controlled movements, the SLR4 PC pads' calf plates are backed with an inner support cushion to improve comfort and pad seal.

Fit & Feel - RRC+ Calf Strapping: Vaughn's Reactive Rotation Control Plus calf strapping offers improved pad position and rotational control, allowing goalies to fine-tune strapping tension at both the upper and lower calf. For those who prefer or need to swap them out, Vaughn’s RRC+ strapping is easily removable.
- Bungee w/ Velcro® Toe Ties: Elastic toe ties secure each boot with more give over traditional skate lace toe ties, offering improved edge control and greatly reducing lower body strain.
- Lightweight, Streamlined Leg Channel: Compared to the SLR4 Pro leg pads, which feature a padded mesh leg channel, the Pro Carbon's leg channel is lined with a moisture-resistant, lightweight vinyl.

band will not adjust.

Can't adjust band. Instructions say push pin out in direction of arow, with tool supplied. Pin does not move, tool bends. pins have screw slots tool only has round push. Shame I liked the look of watch but wonder about quality.

Luckily, I know a friend who is a watch guy or else this length is for a really big wristed guy. The look is great, left it a tad loose so it doesnt catch on my wrist hairs, and it isn't so thats good. Very sleek and Rolex looking. The glass is faceted too, to give a prism look. Great buy and price. Wanted an inexpensive yet everyday watch from metal and this does the job. Almost looks too rich now I am afraid to wear it in Los Angeles LMFAO.
