To celebrate its 100-year anniversary, Aurora has launched the "Cento Italia" collection. 10 "Iconic" limited edition pens will be released, with 100 numbered pieces for Aurora's home country of Italy and 100 pieces for the rest of the world. The pens will launch monthly on the 19th in homage to the foundation of aurora in 1919.
The collection continues with the Hastil, sixth of the 10 pieces. The Hastil stands out for its unique and iconic design finished in rose gold plating. It has the distinction of being the only fountain pen in the permanent collection of the Museum of Modern Art in NYC. It was originally designed by Italian architect Marco Zanuso and German industrial designer Richard Sapper in 1970.
The Hastil sports an 18K rose gold nib and arrives in an elegant black wood and leather box.
