At the race circuit, high level of friction can be achieved along with high stability for an extended amount of time with the heat treatment. _x000D_ The 6 slots brake disc is adopted as standard in the HS type by considering various factors, such as pad wear, squeal and the removal effect of gas at the fading. | Remarks | The heat treatment does not directly improve brake performance. The heat treatment increases the disc resistance against strains and thermal cracking. It also helps maintain stable brake performance for a extended period of time. _x000D_ The surface of the heat treated brake discs has a burnt colour. Once it is used, the burnt surface will be removed by the pad, and changes back to the colour of normal cast iron. Please be aware that the effect of the heat treatment of the disc will not disappear even if the surface colour changes. _x000D_ 12 slots version (HST type) is available as a special order. the surcharge of 12 slots is JPY6,000 (w / o tax). _x000D_ our processing of the rotor, the above package we have shipped in. Were shipped in the package other than the above-mentioned "secondary processed products (slit, heat treatment, dimples, etc.)" will be our warranty. _x000D_ rotor is an image. Soft. Flexible. Easy to grab.
Pros: Soft. Durable. Fits.
Cons: String durability.
This silicone material is soft to the touch and feels great. It is very flexible as well and I expect it to last a long time.
The design doesn’t interfere with the touchpad at all when trying to navigate and fast forward or fast reverse.
There are top and bottom bumps with extra material that create this gap underneath. It’s such a minor detail but makes grabbing the remote so easy versus having it completely flat. There are cut outs for charging port, IR, Apple logo, and what I think is the microphone.
It comes with a sling that gets attached to the cover. It’s an ok sling as over time it did fall apart for me. Granted we don’t really use the string much. You can hang it with the accessory it came with though. We just toss it around.
Overall, this is a great case for your remote.
