How to Apply

LBS Silicone Render comes ready to use. Simply mix the contents before applying to evenly distribute the pigments. For the best results, apply the render over an LBS Basecoat, such as the Lightweight Basecoat (LBS100) White & Grey -25kg with embedded mesh, ensuring a smooth, even surface. This thin-coat system should be applied at a thickness matching the grain size chosen (e.g., a 1.5mm render layer should be 1.5mm thick).

The product is packaged in 25kg buckets and is ready for immediate use after mixing. When applying, start with a trowel to spread the render evenly and use a plastic float to achieve the desired texture. To maintain consistency, it's important to complete full elevations in one session, particularly in warmer weather when the render sets more quickly. This prevents visible joins or texture differences.

Storage and Coverage

LBS Silicone Render should be stored in a cool, dry place, away from sunlight, and used within one year of the production date. Coverage varies depending on grain size:

• 1.2mm grain: 1.9kg/m², covering 12–13m² per bucket
• 1.5mm grain: 2.4kg/m², covering 9–10m² per bucket
