Avión Reserva 44 is produced in Jalisco, Mexico, from 100% Blue Weber agave grown at high elevations, where cooler temperatures and mountain conditions cultivate concentrated, flavorful piñas. After hand-selection and slow roasting — often over three days in traditional brick ovens to caramelize natural sugars — the agave is fermented and small-batch distilled to preserve both fruit and structural integrity.
What distinguishes Reserva 44 is its extra añejo aging regimen: the spirit spends 43 months in American oak barrels, then is transferred for a final month in smaller, specially selected casks that are rotated daily before bottling. This extended, careful maturation deepens complexity while marrying oak-derived nuance with agave character without overwhelming it.
