La Mesa de Caza BM1160 fue diseñada por Børge Mogensen en 1950. 

Presentada por primera vez en la exposición del Gremio de Ebanistas de Copenhague como parte del «tema de la cabaña de caza» de Mogensen, la mesa va acompañada de silla de caza a juego.

BM1160 es ligeramente estrecha por la parte superior, lo que la hace adecuada para espacios más pequeños y permite celebrar reuniones sociales más íntimas. Además, la mesa está construida para un uso frecuente con esquinas y bordes redondeados de madera maciza, lo que revela la pasión de Mogensen por el diseño democrático y accesible.

La estabilidad se garantiza mediante el uso de dos barras metálicas de refuerzo diagonales que conectan el tablero y el marco con un efecto estéticamente agradable. Otros detalles, como las juntas de mortaja y espiga de las patas fabricadas en madera de contraste, acentúan la expresión artesanal de la mesa.

Worked for only 4 months. Now produces metal shards. Dangerous
Pros: Can be used with one hand. I bought this to have after surgery that left me without use of one arm for a few months. The light blinks when you need to charge it. Only needs a 2-3 min charge for enough juice to open a can. Cons: IT QUIT CUTTING CORRECTLY AFTER 4 MONTHS. I now have to use both hands to hold it in place to get it to latch on to the can. It also requires a few rotations around the top to cut through the seal, resulting in METAL SHARDS! The metal shards are super sharp and almost invisible. I stabbed myself with one enough to draw blood. This is dangerous as the metal could fall into the food when pouring from the can.
