This way, the barbed wires project outward from the top of the fence, making it even more difficult for intruders and/or inmates to climb over. (As does the additional fence height provided by this fitting.) Three notches built into the arm secure the wires in place, and the arm's galvanized steel build provides superior rust resistance. How the part fits? A 2-1/2” x 1-5/8” 45-degree barbed arm slides of over a 2-1/2” line post.

Where is it installed? A 2-1/2” x 1-5/8” 45-degree barbed arm is installed on all of your 2-1/2” line post when your application requires barbwire. There will be a hole in the barbed arm to slide your 1-5/8” top rail through. Typically, your 45-degree barbed arm will be placed facing outside of your fence to provide more security.

How To

A 2-1/2” x 1-5/8” 45-degree barbed arm is installed by sliding it over your 2-1/2” line post. Once you reach a terminal post you will need to tighten the barbed wire by placing three additional 1-5/8” end bands on the extended terminal post.
