The band picks up the thread where they left off; low-key pearls with hints of indie and Americana, but primarily classic, timeless pop. Lyseid elaborates on the influences for the album: "I think the usual suspects that always get referred to are still pre-sent: Elliot Smith, Paul Simon, Bob Dylan and Bright Eyes. However, what informed this record stylistically is more my love for other artists and genres: 60's crooning (Scott Walker, Sinatra), European art pop (Serge Gainsbourg, Can), modern Nashville country and 90's (Swedish) power pop." The Little Hands of Asphalt is the solo project of Sjur Lyseid, whom released two records and a couple of EPs under the same moniker back in 2009-2012. Album, Floors, from 2012, received critical acclaim in Lyseid's home of Norway, and was voted the sixth best rec-ord of the year in the Norwegian national newspaper VG. Press praised Lyseid's melodic qualities; and was been frequently highlighted as one of Norway's sharpest songwriters in English. The band toured most major festivals in Nor-way, and a lot on the continent. Since then, the project has been quiet, and Lyseid has primarily worked as a producer and songwriter for other artists at his Six Feet Over studios in Oslo. Now he's back in front of the glass, with what may be the project's strongest songs ever. great mouse rest
Color: Golden Oak, Size: Mouse Wrist Rest
This works really well for for elevating your wrist, I use an apple trackpad it puts my wrist a little too high so what I did was put some rubber pads on the back of my trackpad to raise it up. It now gives the perfect height and good support I can even lean on it. It works well to the fact that it gives you very good support it's not uncomfortable and it's very easy to clean and looks very nice on my desk, because it's made out of real wood.

Great wrist rest. Smooth finish, good looks, and ideal wrist angle.
This wrist rest sets you up for pretty optimal, level height to prevent future wrist problems. I went with the nice reddish/brown color as it matches my brown wood Edifier speakers and other brown accessories very nicely. Nice matte finish that avoids showing finger prints and skin oils. The color is perfect, not too red or too brown.
Keep in mind if your keyboard is angled in the front it will leave a bit of a gap, however it is unnoticeable to me. Also, make sure your arm rests of your chair can come high enough to meet the half inch or so thick wrist rest. My arm rests are a bit low for the time being so some extra pressure is put on my arm behind the wrist when resting on the chair supports.

Not for me
Color: Golden Oak, Size: Mouse Wrist Rest
It's tough to review something like this that functions perfectly, but just wasn't the right fit. The Glorious wrist rest for the keyboard is perfect and exactly what I wanted/needed, but the mouse rest caused hand and wrist pain. I swapped it out for a squishy alternative and that worked much better. I have a theory it might have been due to the relatively low height of my ektecity gaming mouse relative to the mouse rest. My keyboard is a higher height and that may be why the wood keyboard rest works so much better.

Well-crafted book rest for desk

I love this perfectly-sized and shaped board! I wanted something to tilt my daily planner up so it was easier to see and write on throughout the day. Book stands just don't work for my use. This tucks under my computer, so it frees space to work (see photo). The wood, the soft edges, and its finish are well crafted and beautiful. The pads on the bottom keep it from sliding on my desk. I'm thinking about buying another for my home in a spot where I read every morning.

It's a chunk of wood! Finish is great, height is great, looks great. Easy to clean unlike foam ones.
I did get one that was warped but the replacement was fine. Just check that it's actually flat when you get it
