That brings us to 70 CE Ñ the end of the Jewish War against Rome and the destruction of the temple in Jerusalem. It was the decisive turning point in the development of both Judaism and Christianity. What evidence is there to validate the claim made by Fox that for Christians this was also the beginning of what he called ÒThe Great ApostasyÓ?
