You love them completely and in that moment you have no idea what to do.

The Calm Cards were built for that moment. For your child and for you.

Each of the 36 cards has two sides. The child-facing side uses simple, body-based language that even the youngest children can understand and connect with. "My hands want to hit. My face feels hot." "My tummy feels twisty. My hands won't stay still." Language that meets kids exactly where they are, with the Calm Crew characters showing them they are not alone in feeling this way.

The parent-facing side tells you exactly what to do. When to use this card, what to say, what to try, and why it actually helps. No guessing. No Googling in the middle of a meltdown. Just the right tool at the right moment.

Three types of cards, designed to work together:

Emotion Cards

Help children identify what they are feeling and connect the feeling to a physical sensation in their body. Naming a feeling is the first step toward moving through it.

Quick Calm Games

Give kids and parents something to do together in the hardest moments. Fast, sensory-based activities that interrupt the dysregulation cycle and bring the nervous system back toward calm.

Situational Support Cards

Address the specific moments that challenge traveling and on-the-go families most. Waiting. Loud environments. New places. Long journeys. The moments that catch everyone off guard.

The Calm Cards were designed by a former teacher and reviewed by a pediatric occupational therapist to ensure every strategy is developmentally appropriate, evidence-informed, and actually usable in the real world. Not just on a good day. On the hard ones.
