Christophe Felder, along with his longtime collaborator, Camille Lesecq, are back with a new volume that focuses upon the delightful small pastries that are one of the highlights of the art of French baking. Both children and adults adore these often bite-size indulgences. Included here are all the fundamental recipes--the classics and the traditional favorites--along with original, inventive creations. Recipes include amandines, babas, biscuits, bostocks, creams, croquantes, croustillons, financiers, flans, madeleines, Alsatian manderlis, Napoleans, petits fours, sablés, tartlets, and much more.
The book opens with a section on twenty-seven base recipes from which all others can be made, including pâte brisée, pâte sucrée, sablé breton, dacquoise, pâte á choux, feuilletée rapide, and crème pâtissière. It is then divided into chapters of increasing complexity, with a final chapter on "funny" cakes--playfully decorated small cakes designed to delight children or for parties.
Each recipe comes with precise preparation and cooking times, step-by-step decorating tips, and suggestions for vegan and gluten-free alternatives--this seemingly petite package contains a wide range of sweet and simple pleasures to delight big and small gourmets alike.

I thought I'd give this a try but when I took it out of the box, it was the cheapest built watch I ever bought.
You get what you pay for. It was supper light so I don't believe it was stainless wrist band. Felt more like potted metal. Never again.

Classy, comfortable, accurate
My previous Casio has gotten pretty beat up. So I wanted another Casio without spending a lot. I also need it do have both day and date. A metal band is a must. I sweat a lot and leather doesn’t last. The band needs to adjust perfectly to my relatively thin wrist. First, I like the style of the face - simple and easy to read. The watch isn’t real fancy which is fine with me. The band took a bit of adjusting and came out perfectly. It’s not too heavy and retains good accuracy. Can’t beat the price. Only thing I wish it had was 24 hour sub-dial instead of elapsed minutes. I think it’s a great value and a nice looking everyday watch.

Very nice watch but hands need to be larger and luminous
It’s a very nice looking watch. Band adjustment is not difficult using the tools that come with th watch- and it’s very attractive. The watch could stand to be improved by by making the Hands larger and by making them luminous. The watch is very comfortable to wear . It may be a little large for a small wrist but it’s not gigantic. I haven’t checked the accuracy but it appears that the watch doesn’t lose or gain time.

Literally just a good watch, absolutely nothing to complain about
Ive had two versions of this watch, the leather strap version and this metal version. The only weak point on my old watch was the leather strap.
This thing is simple, elegant, and practical, couldn't really ask more from a watch. It holds up pretty well and doesn't scratch too easily (if you have a labor intensive job you might want a glass protector). I've had mine for a couple months now and it only has a few very faint scratches but that's just because im rough on my watches lol. I would recommend this to literally anybody
