هذا وإن القارئ يجد بأن معظم المقالات المنشورة في هذا الكتاب تنتمي لمجال النقد التطبيقي، فهي قراءات لنصوص بعينها: حي بن يقظان، الإنسان والبحر، ثلاثية نجيب محفوظ، ومالك الحزين لإبراهيم اصلان... صيادو الذاكرة الفلسطينية... رحلة لطيفة الزيات، الكاتبة والحرية... عاصفة شكسبير... الواقعية بين لوكاس وبريخت...، توظف الباحثة من خلالها المنطلقات النظرية ضمناً ولا تصدرها، وهي تجتهد في المقام الأول في عقد صلة بين القارئ والنص عبر قراءة تلتزم بدراسة الشكل وإن لم تكن شكلانية، إذ تربط النص بسياقه، تخرج منه لتعود إليه، تقرأ في عناصره علاقته بواقع تاريخي بعينه وهي علاقة فسيحة مركبة، متعددة الأبعاد، لا تقتصر على إعادة إنتاج هذا الواقع ومحاورته والتعليق عليه، بل تمتد إلى مسارات متعرجة وملتفة ومتقاطعة يتعين تتبعها بحرص.
قسمت الباحثة المقالات إلى ثلاثة أقسام، القسم الأول منها يضم قراءات نقدية يتناول أغلبها نصوصاً في الأدب العربي الحديث. أما القسم الثاني فيضم أربع دراسات كتبتها ونشرتها، في حينها، باللغة الإنكليزية، ثم ترجمتها إلى العربية بهدف نشرها في هذا الكتاب، وأفردت الباحثة القسم الثالث لشهادات ومحاضرات تجمع بين التناول النقدي والتعبير الذاتي. ويدخل هذا القسم في صلب ممارستها النقدية حيث تكشف نصوصه عن جانب من هذه الممارسة، وفيها قدر لا بأس به من المزج بين القراءة النقدية القائمة على التحليل "الموضوعي" والكتابة الأدبية القائمة على كمٍّ لا يستهان به من التعبير "الذاتي"

Silicon Valley drama with legal INSANITY

This book started very interestingly. About 30% of the way through it, I hit a lull and started reading another book for a few days. I then decided to come back and HOLY SMOKES what a ride! Lately I’ve been devouring Silicon Valley startup bios and this one seemed like an intriguing tech story. Little did I know, the amount of ups and downs, struggles for funding, and INSANE legal battles were absolutely riveting. It was very inspiring for an aspiring founder. Thanks for the awesome book! I’m the kind of reader that will leave a book unread, but this one was too good to put down! Highly recommend!
