This adapter will allow you to mount your 6-bolt MOMO or other 6x70mm pattern steering wheel to the steering column on your Lotus Exige S2.
MOMO adapter connects the steering column to the MOMO steering wheel. MOMO was among the first to address safety by creating a collapsible hub. Built from a single piece of steel with a spider-like structure fixed to an aluminium base, it is designed to absorb much of the energy generated if the driver’s body strikes the wheel in an accident.
With the intention to guarantee the highest levels of safety, MOMO has carefully selected a programme of models, in combination with collapsible hubs, which have been subjected to the extremely strict TÜV homologation tests. Of fundamental importance among these are the mechanical strength and crash tests. In fact, MOMO is one of the first companies in the world to have passed the tests required for the German homologations TÜV and KBA. Please note that not all vehicles can be TÜV homologated with an aftermarket steering wheel and boss kit. Technology, selected materials and in-depth product knowledge guarantee the consistent production quality of MOMO steering wheels.
Although most cars today feature collapsible steering columns, the additional energy absorption of the MOMO hub provides extra protection. MOMO also offers the industry’s largest catalogue of hubs compatible with hundreds of vehicles. Please note:
- Replacing the steering wheel on cars equipped with airbag systems will disable the airbags for both the driver and the front passenger, as well as any other airbags fitted in the car.
- MOMO hub adapters are intended for tuning & racing use only.
- Do not attempt to install this kit yourself unless you have been properly trained in the installation and maintenance of car steering wheels.
- Do not attempt to install this kit without first reading the instruction manual.
