Leading the merry madness is the dashing (and slightly dim) Robin Hood, played by Dick Gautier, joined by an inspired ensemble cast: Dick Van Patten as Friar Tuck, Bernie Kopell as Alan-a-Dale, David Sabin as Little John, and Richard Dimitri in a hilarious dual role as identical twins Renaldo (one of the Merry Men) and Bertram (the Sheriff’s right-hand man).

Standing in their way are the gloriously over-the-top villains — Henry Polic II as the blustering Sheriff of Nottingham and Ron Rifkin as the perpetually flustered Prince John. Rounding out the royal romance is Misty Rowe as the sweet (and frequently imperiled) Maid Marian.
