Warmtepomp-combiboiler WK – Legionellaveilige drinkwaterverwarming

Korte beschrijving

De warmtepomp-combiboiler WK combineert hygiënische doorstroomverwarming en buffervat in één compacte behuizing en is speciaal ontworpen voor warmtepompsystemen. Dankzij de geïntegreerde roestvrijstalen golfbuis in het bovenste deel van het vat wordt het drinkwater verwarmd zonder grote voorraadvorming, waardoor legionellavorming wordt verminderd en onderhoudsintensiteit wordt geminimaliseerd.

Opbouw en materialen

Het vat bestaat uit kwaliteitsstaal S235JRG2 volgens DIN 4753 en Euronorm EN 12897; de drinkwaterwarmtewisselaar is een in Duitsland vervaardigde roestvrijstalen golfbuis (1.4404). De behuizing is van binnen ruw, van buiten gegrond en verdeeld in twee thermisch gescheiden zones: boven drinkwaterverwarming, onder verwarmingsbuffer.

Werkingsprincipe en legionellabescherming

In het bovenste deel verwarmt de roestvrijstalen golfbuis drinkwater volgens het doorstroomprincipe, waardoor slechts kleine hoeveelheden water worden opgeslagen en het risico op legionella aanzienlijk daalt. De gescheiden buffer in het onderste deel slaat warmte-energie op voor de warmtepompbedrijfsvoering en maakt tegelijkertijd grote temperatuurverschillen tussen de zones mogelijk.

Warmtewisselaar en prestatiekenmerken

De roestvrijstalen wisselaar biedt dankzij zijn grote oppervlak een hoge warmwaterprestatie en snelle opwarmtijden. Beide vatdelen zijn voorzien van aparte moffen voor elektrische verwarmingselementen, waardoor aanvullende verwarming eenvoudig kan worden geïntegreerd.

Isolatievarianten

De combiboiler is beschikbaar met verschillende isolaties: 100 mm EPS (efficiëntieklasse C), 130 mm EPS AirPor® (efficiëntieklasse B) of 150 mm PU-superhardschuim (efficiëntieklasse A, voor 600–1000 l). Elke variant is afneembaar en voorzien van een zilvergrijs kunststofomhulsel en afsluitlat.

EPS AirPor® isolatie

De innovatieve EPS AirPor® isolatie combineert geëxpandeerd polystyreen met grafietnanodeeltjes voor verbeterde warmtereflectie. Deze constructie vermindert warmteverliezen ten opzichte van conventionele oplossingen, is eenvoudig te monteren, op maat en recyclebaar.

PU-superhardschuim isolatie

De 150 mm PU-combisolatie (PU + PV-vlies) biedt een zeer lage warmtegeleiding en voorkomt convectieverliezen aan de vatwand, deksel en moffen. Hij is robuust, huidvriendelijk, 100% recyclebaar en garandeert de hoogste energie-efficiëntie (klasse A).

Montage, aansluitingen en transport

Alle aansluitingen zijn zijdelings aangebracht, beide vatdelen kunnen worden gedemonteerd en afzonderlijk worden vervoerd. De isolatie is afneembaar en vergemakkelijkt installatie en service, ook bij beperkte ruimte.

Voordelen voor de gebruiker

De combiboiler vermindert warmteverliezen, minimaliseert onderhoudsintensiteit door afwezigheid van opofferaanode, maakt gelijktijdig opwarmen en koelbedrijf van vloerverwarming mogelijk en verhoogt de efficiëntie van warmtepompinstallaties door geoptimaliseerde gelaagdheid en grote warmtewisselaaroppervlakte.

Toepassingsgebieden en planningsaanwijzingen

Ideaal voor woonhuizen, appartementsgebouwen en utiliteitsprojecten met warmtepompen en vloerverwarming en/of -koeling. Bij de keuze van de isolatievariant moeten vatgrootte, gewenste energie-efficiëntie en montageomstandigheden in aanmerking worden genomen; wij ondersteunen graag bij de dimensionering.

Satyajit Ray's Great Trilogy Masterpiece Gets the Criterion Treatment In Blu Ray!
Years before trilogies were in vogue, way before "The Godfather" there was "The Apu Trilogy". The original negatives were lost in a fire and yet Criterion has managed to work miracles with this masterful restoration of this beautiful classic tale of the life of a Bengalese child to adulthood over 3 films. The story is compelling and absorbing and directed as only a master like Satyajit Ray can. Any attempt to further describe this movie would just not do justice to it; it has to be experienced and rewards repeated viewing. This release also includes a 48-page booklet of essays on the film in addition to the 3 blu ray discs of the films. Great sound and picture quality is evident as well considering the film's age and source master. This worthy addition to any art-film buff's video library comes highly recommended!

What is the point? (SPOILER)
My heading echoes the adult Apu who, in the last movie in the trilogy says, "What is the use?" and allows the pages of his autobiographical novel to blow away in a wind. In the first two movies we enter the very real life of a rural Indian family whose members are all lovingly created by director and actors. But their story is rather sad. First Apu's young sister dies of illness, a fate shared much later by their father. Then the life of the mother dwindles away and Apu is left alone. The restoration of the nearly-destroyed films is a technological marvel, but I wondered if this tale would attain to anything of lasting value by the end. With the third and last movie in this series, I can reach a somewhat different conclusion. There is death and suffering in this last part too as Apu's wife dies early on but the entire narrative reaches a sudden and surprising resolution when Apu unites with his long-abandoned little boy who is himself a mirror of Apu growing up. There is something of a vacuous Asian experience in this cinematic telling but it doesn't really come to nothing as the stereotype might suggest. I recall that experience in David Lean's rendering of E.M.Forster's A Passage to India, a wonderful movie too but, like the novel, lending itself to earlier Western ideas about the East. An element of life, freedom, joy bursts upon us at the end of Ray's movie and transforms everything we have seen before. Yes, life is risky, unpredictable, filled with suffering, but it can still lead to something wonderful.

The best Fellini collection on the US market
The collection is a bit pricey, but in this case you get what you pay for. These movies have all been restored beautifully, and the box is a delight. The packaging is a fairly sturdy cardboard box. It is quite large, so you may have trouble fitting it onto a bookshelf. Mine protrudes about an inch past the end of my shelf. Inside the box is a large folio for the discs and two novel-sized books. One is a guide to each of the films, and the other is full of essays about Fellini and his work. The movies all look great. The blu-ray upgrades look great compared to my old vhs or dvd copies of some of his works. There was a new restoration of all of these films right before the set came out, and it shows. The black and white contrast looks crisp and the color films really pop. As for the quality of the films, you know that some of these are considered top films of all time. The lesser films are still good to great. I think that all of these films are worth watching over and over, and all of them have great special features. All in all, this set is very much worth it, especially during the July sale. I bought it half price, and I feel I got an incredible bargain. All in all, this is probably the best Criterion box set. Don't hesitate, buy it.
