Black Ops Grooming 6/8" 'Patriot' Straight Razor. This straight razor is Simple and Elegant. The Blade: With its smooth, satin finish, this 6/8" blade has a quarter hollow grind, a square point and jimps on the underside of the tang. Scales: Black Resin Scales For Long Lasting Endurance The steel is tested at a Rockwell hardness of 62 – 63, giving your razor the sharpest and most long-lasting edge possible. The one-piece scales have a simple elegance and are extremely durable while providing an excellent balance to the razor's edge. The scales are attached by a hex screw so the user can easily tighten or loosen to his preference as well as re-scale the razor. The addition of hand carved file jimps on the inside edge of the blade's tang provide extra grip and control while shaving. The blades are made from 0-1 tool steel, never old forgings or “mystery metal”. The blades are surface-ground before and after heat-treating in a molten salt bath. The salt protects the blades from decarbonization and oxidation. The blades are then frozen in liquid nitrogen, which assures dimensional stability. Each blade is triple-tempered for a final hardness of 62 – 63 HRC, and finish-honed on a vintage Escher hone and hand-stropped. Every blade is “shave ready” right out of the box. BOG puts the tactical into grooming. I bought this DualHead Shaver trimmer and honestly I really love it.
It does more than I expected for the price.
I used it for quick touch ups and it works quite well. I liked that its lightweight and easy to handle. The pink design also looks nice and modern
The battery lasts a long time for personal use and the size is perfect. Its not very noisy and cuts smoothly. Obviously it doesnt replace a professional machine but for daily maintenance and small areas, it works great. So far it has worked flawlessly, and I would buy it again. Its a good option practical and simple.
