Ze zijn tot in de puntjes verfijnd en perfect gestileerd; ze trekken de aandacht en wekken respect op, zonder zich ooit op te dringen. Het klassieke Chypré-akkoord is van nature complex en moeilijk te perfectioneren – en juist daarom hou ik er zo van. In deze compositie heb ik de mosachtige warmte van een traditionele Chypré gecombineerd met een onverwacht boeket van sensuele witte bloemen, verfrist door een levendige uitbarsting van citrusnoten. Voor wie mijn liefde voor Chypré deelt, zal deze contrasterende mix van ingrediënten verrassend zijn – en precies dát maakt deze creatie zo bijzonder.
