Uiterlijk van de plant: De Dypsis Areca Lutescens, ook bekend als de Goudpalm, heeft fijne, veerachtige bladeren die vanuit meerdere stelen groeien. De bladeren zijn heldergroen met soms een geelachtige tint, waardoor de plant een tropische uitstraling heeft. Deze plant groeit in een compacte bos en kan met de juiste verzorging vol en weelderig worden.

Standplaats: De Areca Lutescens houdt van veel indirect zonlicht, maar kan ook overleven in halfschaduw. Plaats de plant bij een raam op het noorden of oosten voor de beste resultaten.

Waterbehoefte: Deze plant heeft regelmatige watergift nodig. Houd de grond licht vochtig, maar zorg ervoor dat de wortels niet in het water staan. Water geven wanneer de bovenste laag van de grond droog aanvoelt is ideaal.
