De nieuwe DDPai Z40 2CH Dual QuadHD Wifi GPS is de ideale midrange dashcam met uitstekende prijskwaliteit verhouding. Hij filmt met zeer scherpe QuadHD 1944p video's aan de voorkant en FullHD aan de achterkant. Verder is hij uitgerust met Wifi en GPS. Op het heldere 2.0 inch LCD scherm is het menu bovendien eenvoudig te bedienen en kun je gemaakte opnames makkelijk terugzien.

QuadHD + FullHD video's

De beeldkwaliteit op deze DDPai Z40 2CH Dual QuadHD Wifi GPS is zeer goed door het gebruik van de hoogwaardige 5.0MP beeldsensor. De resolutie van de video's is 2592×1944p in 30fps aan de voorkant en FullHD 1080p aan de achterkant. Ook bij donkere omstandigheden presteert de beeldsensor bovengemiddeld goed. Foto's maakt de camera in 1600p.

DDPai Wifi

Deze DDPai Z40 2CH Dual QuadHD Wifi GPS is uitgerust met Wifi en kan daarom met de DDPai app worden gebruikt. De gebruiksvriendelijke app is handig te bedienen en kan worden gebruikt om live of opgeslagen beelden te bekijken en om instellingen te wijzigen. Ook eventuele firmware updates kunnen handig via de App worden uitgevoerd.

Automatische Time Lapse parking mode

De DDPai  Z40 2CH Dual QuadHD Wifi GPS heeft een handige automatische parkeerstand waarmee de auto kan worden beveiligd wanneer deze geparkeerd staat. De parkeerstand wordt automatisch geactiveerd wanneer gedurende 15 minuten geen beweging wordt waargenomen. De parkeerstand werkt met Time Lapse, dit betekent dat elke seconde een foto wordt gemaakt die later als versnelde video kunnen worden afgespeeld. Het voordeel van een parkeerstand met Time Lapse is dat de opnames veel minder data en stroom verbruiken dan normale opnames. Bovendien worden personen en kentekens alsnog herkenbaar in beeld gebracht.

Een andere handige functie van de parkeerstand bij deze DDPai Z40 is de voice alert die je waarschuwt wanneer tijdens het parkeren een aanrijding heeft plaatsgevonden.

Let op: De (automatische) parkeerstand werkt alleen in combinatie met de optionele DDPai USBC Continue voeding (zie accessoires) om de dashcam te voorzien van stroom bij een uitgeschakeld contact.

Super capacitor batterij

De DDPai Z40 2CH Dual QuadHD Wifi GPS is uitgerust met een super capacitor batterij. Deze batterij zorgt ervoor dat de camera zich na het wegvallen van de stroom op de juiste manier kan afsluiten. Super capacitor batterijen zijn speciaal ontwikkeld voor het gebruik in dashcams omdat ze duurzamer zijn dan reguliere Polymeer Liion batterijen en bovendien beter bestand zijn tegen hoge en lage temperaturen.

WDR

De DDPai Z40 2CH Dual QuadHD Wifi GPS is uitgerust met WDR (Wide Dynamic Range) om de beeldkwaliteit te verbeteren. Vooral in omstandigheden bij erg veel of erg weinig licht zorgt WDR ervoor dat de beeldkwaliteit toch goed is. 

140˚ + 125˚ wideview lens

Deze Z40 2CH Dual QuadHD Wifi GPS heeft een groothoeklens van 140 graden aan de voorkant en 125˚ aan de achterkant. Hierdoor wordt een zeer groot gebied waargenomen, niet alleen vóór de auto maar ook in de omgeving. Door het aspect ratio van 16:10 wordt de kijkhoek bovendien nog groter dan bij andere dashcams met een ratio van bijvoorbeeld 3:4.

128gb ondersteuning

De DDPai Z40 2CH Dual QuadHD Wifi GPS ondersteunt MicroSD kaarten tot 128gb, goed voor ruim 16 uur FullHD opnames.

Auto start

De DDPai Z40 2CH Dual QuadHD Wifi GPS dashcam begint automatisch te filmen wanneer de auto wordt gestart en stopt met filmen wanneer de auto wordt uitgezet. Je hoeft er dus niet meer naar om te kijken als hij in de auto hangt. 

Gsensor

Door de ingebouwde Gsensor merkt de dashcam wanneer je een ongeluk hebt gehad. Bij een impact worden beelden automatisch beveiligd opgeslagen zodat ze niet meer verloren gaan. Ze kunnen niet meer overschreven worden en ook niet via de dashcam worden verwijderd.

Low Voltage cutoff protection

De DDPai Z40 2CH Dual QuadHD Wifi GPS heeft in combinatie met de DDPai Z40 2CH Dual QuadHD Wifi GPS continue voeding de optie om een voltage in te stellen waarbij de dashcam uitschakelt wanneer de accu van de auto onder dit voltage komt. Het voltage is in te stellen op 12.4V, 12.0V en 11.8V.

Ingebouwde microfoon

De DDPai Z40 2CH Dual QuadHD Wifi GPS heeft een ingebouwde microfoon zodat ook geluid wordt opgenomen. De microfoon kan desgewenst ook worden uitgezet.

De actuele tijd en datum worden altijd in beeld weergegeven zodat later kan worden aangetoond op welke tijd de betreffende opnames zijn gemaakt.

Very bad
This guys are just an eye wash, they do not cover anything but will charge you. I bought Hand Blender and it broke in couple of months and I took 3 year protection from Asurion. When I contacted them about the issue, they said it is not started, go to manufacturer. I reached out to Amazon and they replaced it for me. Now again it broke. I reached out to asurion again. Now they say it is not contract. what is the point of having protection. Waste of time and money. I will not recommend this to anyone. This is a fraud protection.

’ve had Asurion coverage for a couple of years and never needed to use it until recently, when my pool salt cell (less than two years old) stopped working. I had purchased it with an Asurion protection plan, so I contacted them to start a claim. The process was simple and straightforward to follow. In the end, they honored the plan and covered the cost of my salt cell based on the value when I originally bought it. They issued me a gift card that I could use on Amazon for that amount. While prices have gone up and a new cell now costs about $200 more, it was still definitely worth having the coverage. Overall, I’m satisfied with how the claim was handled.

Don't waste your money - these people will not help you
On March 9th 2024, I purchased a MCombo Lift Chair costing $785. On the same day, through the same Amazon account (my PERSONAL account since I also have a business account), I purchased an Asurion Complete Protect policy at the cost of $16.99 per month plus taxes. About one month ago, a problem arose with the chair that required me to make a claim using the "Complete Protect" policy that I had purchased for that very item. The claim was initiated on January 1st, 2025 - On January 3rd, I received an email asking me for photographs showing the damage for which I was making a claim. I sent those photographs via email to the address provided on January 6th. On January 27th, having not received ANY response from Asurion, I contacted them via phone and was told that my purchase had been made with a business account, that it was being used for business purposes, and was therefore not covered. I assured the Asurion Representative that it was most certainly not a business use, and that the chair that I was claiming for had been purchased because I had extensive shoulder surgery done that made it impossible to get in and out of bed. After speaking (unsuccessfully) with the Asurion Rep, I then contacted Amazon Customer Service. I spoke with an Amazon Customer Service Representative on the phone who confirmed that I had in fact used my personal account to purchase the chair and the Asurion Complete Protect policy. That representative went on to send a message to Asurion on my behalf confirming that the purchase was for personal use and not business use. Asurion responded, asking me to call them with the order number for the Asurion purchase. The number I gave was the exact same order number on my order history, however, the Asurion Rep could not find it. I was finally able to discover that the order number in Asurion's system was entirely different and isn't even in the same format as an Amazon order number. Upon the Asurion representative finding my plan, she informed me that the chair was listed as being purchased for business use (despite Amazon confirming that it was NOT) but that I should give them "a couple of business days" to resolve the issue. Five business days later, still no response and so I called them again (Yesterday - February 1st 2025)... Lo and behold, I got the same crap yet again... the purchase was listed as business use and was therefore being denied, but she promised to remove the business use commentary and put the claim through again. Today, February 2nd, I called Amazon yet again to escalate and had to call THREE times because the first two calls resulted in me finally being connected to an Asurion representative (two different reps) and each time, the Asurion representative hung up the phone as soon as my name was mentioned. It has become clear to me that the Asurion "Complete Protect" policy is a SCAM - they will NOT take care of your issue, regardless of how long you've been paying. I have been paying every month since March 9th last year - so they've received over $170 from me thus far, with zero other claims, and if I am able to cancel right now, I will only receive $16.99 back. All I want, is the chair that I purchased the policy for coverage of, to be repaired or replaced. Asurion are NOT helping, and are actively avoiding contact. At this point, I am considering legal action against Asurion for fraud - perhaps even a Class Action. I'll wait and see if my issue gets resolved within the next 10 days or so.
