A 19th century French Louis Philippe style enfilade buffet d'appui or gentleman's buffet handcrafted of solid walnut and chestnut by skilled craftsmen near Bayeux, a town on the Aure river in the Normandy region of northwestern France, circa 1880s. This handsome antique French buffet features a stately, tailored architecture that is typical of the style.
