The CJ Nelson Outlier X is a mid-length surfboard designed for surfers who want one board that does everything. At 6'9" × 21¾" × 2⅞" (47L), it sits between a performance egg and a small longboard — enough volume to paddle comfortably, enough rail and rocker to drive through proper turns.

Built with Thunderbolt Black technology — the most performance-oriented construction in the Thunderbolt range — the board uses a full carbon fibre laminate over an EPS core. The result is a surfboard that's noticeably lighter than a PU equivalent and snaps back through turns faster. Less fatigue on longer sessions, more response when you push hard on the rail.

The Outlier X handles wave types from mellow knee-high beach break through to solid overhead surf. It's the board UK and Irish surfers reach for when conditions are inconsistent and they need something versatile that actually performs.
