The S2 Standard 24 Satin begins with a double-cutaway solidbody design wrapped in a thin satin finish. Made of solid mahogany, this PRS features an asymmetric top bevel and fine body contours for easily fitting under the arm and across the body while playing. Highly resonant even when unplugged, this mahogany body is a marvel of sound at every juncture.

From here, the S2 Standard 24 Satin brings on a scarfed, set mahogany neck. The neck, taking a PRS Pattern Thin profile, is seamless in hand for quick maneuvers from higher to lower registers. This PRS's mahogany neck is matched with a rosewood fingerboard bearing twenty-four frets and a modern ten-inch radius. Facilitating speedy playing and smooth fretting, the fingerboard on this PRS is another noteworthy inclusion.
