Gen 3 Dual Battery System
for 2020+ JT Gladiator with 3.6L Gas Engine
Genesis Offroad launched the first completely integrated, easy to install dual battery system for the Jeep Wrangler in 2013. Never satisfied with 'good enough', we have listened to customer feedback and refined our dual battery system to be even better suited to meet the demands of today's off road vehicles and their drivers.
Our purpose remains the same - to allow you to enjoy your aftermarket electrical accessories without worrying about draining down your cranking battery. Even if your cranking battery gets too low to start the engine, simply press a button to jump start from your second battery. Gone are the old days of reading wire schematics to figure out how to add a second battery to your vehicle with a manual selector switch or isolator device. Genesis dual battery kits are completely pre-wired for you out of the box for easy installation. No wire strippers or crimpers required!
What's new with Gen 3
1 - New heavy duty battery combiner
Allows your engine's alternator to charge your cranking and accessory batteries.Connects batteries together in parallel while driving, then separates them once the voltage drops below 12.7v to protect your cranking battery from getting drained by your accessories.Rated for 300 amps continuous current flow, and spikes of up 2500 amps for 10 seconds to handle anything you can throw at it.Compatible with all modern high output alternators.Uses NO power to keep batteries connected, allows batteries to stay fully charged when not in use and run accessories even longer.Generates NO heat, since no current is flowing through it while the batteries are connected, the battery combiner produces no heat at all.More robust and more reliable design means more worry-free adventures
2 - New boost button
Now includes 3 user-selectable modes - Auto, On, and Off'Auto' mode automatically connects batteries when either one is above 13.1v for 90 seconds, and disconnects them when they drop below 12.7v for 30 seconds.'On' mode will manually connect the batteries together. Use this to jump start the engine when the cranking battery is low, or manually provide extra run time to your accessories by using both batteries together.'Off' mode will manually separate the batteries. Use this when you want to leave the batteries isolated for any reason. Note the alternator will not charge the Aux battery while in this mode. The green halo light will turn on to indicate the batteries are connected, and the light will be off when the batteries are separated.3 - New bus bars
Now includes 3 tall studs and 3 small screws for power & ground wire connectionsDifferent stud sizes 1/4", 5/16", and 3/8" give you more flexibility for connecting your heavy duty accessory cables such as a winch, stereo amplifier, air compressor, fuse panels, etc.Lighter gauge wires such as LED lights, CB, etc, can use the 3 small screws for connecting #10 sized ring terminals.Any accessories connected to the bus bars will run from the Aux battery and will not drain down the cranking battery. The protective cover flips up for easy access for routing your wires.
4 - New Heavy Duty Cables
Higher solid copper strand count for more current carrying capacity and more flexibilityThicker insulating jacket for even more protection from the elementsHeavy duty adhesive lined heat shrink protects the wire from corrosionTin-plated copper lugs and post clamps for superior conductivity
New Cover
Our most requested feature!
Completely covers all the electronics and wiring for protection and a cleaner lookEasy flip up access to your bus barsNew Optional Engine On Sensor
This optional cable plugs into a built-in connector under the cover to sense when the engine is running
Changes the threshold for connecting/disconnecting the batteries
Ensures the Aux battery continues to charge even when a modern 'smart alternator' senses the batteries are full and turns down its output
Connects batteries together 30 seconds after engine starts, leaves them connected unless voltage drops below 11.6v with engine on, or under 13.1v for 5 minutes with engine off.
To use, lift bus bar cover and grab the small green wire, plug in sensor cable into the green bullet connector, route cable to the factory fuse box, find and remove any ignition-hot circuit fuse, insert factory fuse into fuse tap, insert fuse tap into factory fuse box.
G Screen Monitoring System port
Integrated connection point for plugging in the optional G Screen. This kit uses G Screen v5.3, part number 227-GS.System Includes:
- Gen 3 Power Hub
- Smart battery combiner
- Boost switch
- Accessory Bus bars
- G Screen port
- All wiring
- Steel Battery Tray
- Factory fuse box mount
- Power steering fluid bottle mount
- Installation hardware
Battery Options:
- Requires 2 Group 25 size batteries, any brand.
- Batteries must be the same physical size for the lid to securely hold them in place
- We recommend the Full Throttle FT750-25 or the Odyssey ODP-AGM25, or any other high quality AGM batteries
- The Optima Red Top Group 25 and the Optima Yellow Top Group 75/25 will work, but due to their physically smaller size, they have far less capacity than other brands, and therefore we do not recommend Optima batteries with this kit.
- Traditional wet lead acid batteries are NOT recommended
- Note the stock battery is NOT compatible with this kit

Ancient Greece: the progenitor for modern day civilization
Format: Kindle
This enthralling text explores Ancient Greece from its Bronze age origins to its capitulation under the Roman Empire. Furthermore, it emphasizes the long-reaching impact this heterogeneous collection of city-states had on political, scientific, mathematical, philosophical, architectural, and military development. All of this was accomplished in spite of constantly shifting intra-regional conflict between Athens, Thrace and Sparta. Outside enemies like the Persian empire only complicated relations further. This sibling rivalry-of-sorts evolved when Alexander the Great's Macedonian empire conquered the Greek world and supplanted itself in the greco-persian conflict.
While Macedonia's did embroil the internecine conflicts in the area they hellenized the regions they conquered, including: Persia,Egypt, and parts of India. However, when Alexander the Great died it left a power vacuum exploited by his men, the Romans, and the Ancient Greeks. This ultimately resulted in the Roman Empire. Ancient Greece set the stage for roman empire and while they were an autonomous union of city-states for much of their existence two things united them: their language and religion. These two cultural touchstones united these city-states as brothers, albeit with a love-hate relationship at times.
This text explores the archaic, classic, and hellenic periods of Greek history in a fascinating and concise manner. It is a must-read.

Enlightening
Format: Paperback
I discovered a number of interesting things reading this book. I learned for example, that Sparta was indeed a warrior city, with men training to be soldiers from an early age and living in barracks, even when they were married. This and the death rate from fighting led to a low birth rate and their eventual demise. I also discovered that athletes in the original Olympics did indeed compete naked and that making a false start to a race was not a good idea, as people who did that were executed!
I also learned that there were Greeks who believed the Earth was round and that it circled the sun, hundreds of years before Copernicus. I also discovered that the various Greek factions, (e.g. Athens, Sparta, Macedonia etc.) seemed to be constantly fighting one another). I knew that Alexander the Great built a massive empire but did not realize the extent of that empire until I read this tome. I also discovered that Aristotle was a student of Plato, who in turn was a student of Socrates
Overall, it was a very enlightening read where I gathered all sorts of interesting facts
