Players may use pre-constructed decks or customised decks created from their personal card collection.Core Set 2021 is the 20th core set released for MtG, released globally on 3 July 2020. 274 cards make up the set: 111 commons, 80 uncommons, 53 rares, 15 mythic rares, and 15 basic lands. This set includes a combination of reprinted and new cards.This set places a thematic emphasis on creature types: Cats, and Dogs, the later becoming a creature type for the first time in MtG. Mill is introduced as a keyword action. Prowess and Phasing make a return.Five Planeswalker decks were released as part of the Core Set 2021 product range.
