Der innovative Offset Spectra-Basskorpus-Style wurde mit Hinblick auf Tourmusiker entwickelt. Sein Pappel-Korpus ist mit einem größeren, hornförmigen Design an der Oberkante ausgestattet, das für gleichmäßige Verteilung des Gewichts über das gesamte Instrument, perfekte Balance und Spielkomfort sorgt. Der durchgehende Hals aus Ahorn mit Graphitverstärkung, Schäftung und Speed-Neck-Kontur sorgt für eindrucksvolle Klangdauer während das Lorbeer-Griffbrett mit 12"–16" Radius und 24 Jumbo-Bünden für herausragende Spielbarkeit sorgt.

Der SBX IV bietet ein umfassendes Klangspektrum und ist so auch für die vielseitigsten und progressivsten Bassisten geeignet. Duale, passive Medium-Output Humbucking-Pickups bilden ein dynamisches Fundament mit Punch, Power und Tonartikulation. Ein 2-Wege-Kippschalter für Pickup Coil Splitting, 3-band active EQ, Blend Control und Volumen-Poti mit Push-/Pull-Wahlschalter zur Umgehung der aktiven Schaltung sorgen für eine umfassende Klangsteuerung. Durch den Push-/Pull-Wahlschalter musst du dir nie wieder Sorgen machen, dass es aufgrund einer ausgehenden Batterie zu Einbußen beim Sound kommt. Ein kurzes Ziehen am Volumen-Poti überbrückt die aktive Schaltung, sodass der Bass auch ohne Batteriestrom wieder erklingt.

Dieser 4-saitige Bass ist zudem mit einer HiMass™-HardtailSteg ausgestattet, der für eine verbesserte Klangdauer und verbesserten Anschlag sorgt.

A familiar story, just with…..less.

So, as other reviewers make clear, this is very similar to Pack Darling and The Beta. It’s much closer aligned with The Beta, in plot and maybe more like Pack Darling with characters. That being said, I don’t hate this…..but it wasn’t great either. It’s both books mentioned but just….less. Less angst, less emotion, less feeling. The plot feels very half fleshed out, and the “bad guy” feels underwhelming. I didn’t really feel any real emotions from and of the male leads, except maybe Oliver. The others fell sorta flat for me. And Mika makes herself out to be this big bad ass straight outta training and then we never see it from here again with the one fitting room incident as the exception. SPOILER: The whole, “Oh, I’m actually probably an Omega, but I don’t wanna be but I do actually wanna be but no one can ever know my secret that I do nothing to hide “ thing fell so flat. She never commutes to believing she was secretly an omega, but also mentions her “secret” a lot. It just felt so manufactured. I’m intrigued enough to read part 2 and see how the author closes everything out, but this is not one I’ll recommend or ever come back to.
