Its inverted top and large surface area provide much longer life between maintenance intervals. The smooth one-piece sealed housing, constructed of heat-resistant cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE), features our patent-pending filter-to-housing interface. Its innovative design minimizes the total number of parts, making for an easy installation. A large, clear sight window allows for hassle-free filter inspection, without having to disassemble your system. The housing utilizes the factory hood scoop and retains the water separating functionality. This system features a high quality, computer-designed, dyno-tuned intake tube to achieve maximum power gains while maintaining a perfect fit. Its XLPE material is heat soak resistant and extremely durable. Premium stainless-steel T-bolt clamps are used for durability and provide the best corrosion resistance possible. Seems well made, but I don't like the sensation (of a water flosser in general)

This was the first time I ever tried a water flosser, and ultimately have decided it is not for me as I don't like the sensation of water falling out of my mouth while using it. But my mother swears by them, so I will likely give it to her. It does seem to be well-made and of good quality. Even full of water, it is fairly lightweight and easy to hold onto. There are several different strengths/pattern settings, which seems like a good thing. It charged up quickly, but I cannot speak to the battery life as I only used it a few times. I see that the price has dropped by 1/3 since I ordered it.
