ALLEVYN™ Foam Dressing Adhesive

ALLEVYN™ Foam Dressing Adhesive from Smith & Nephew is a flexible, cushioning dressing whose skin-friendly adhesive surface provides secure hold even on stressed skin. The hydrocellular foam supports the care of wounds with moderate to heavy exudation and maintains an ideal moist wound environment. The ALLEVYN™ foam dressing absorbs excess exudate so that no moist chambers can form in which infections can develop.

Another advantage is that the foam dressing does not stick to the wound area. This allows for a painless and atraumatic dressing change. In addition, the dressing is designed to remain on the wound for up to 7 days. This not only promotes wound healing, but also reduces time-consuming dressing changes.
