The Gibson Les Paul Standard '50s Gold Top lefty captures the essence of Gibson's iconic heritage, brilliantly continuing the renowned design that redefined the musical arena in the 1950s. Honoring the deep-rooted lineage and unmatched allure of the original Les Paul Standard, Gibson has intricately engineered this iteration to empower contemporary musicians with the same unparalleled prowess.

The foundational body is chiseled from prime mahogany, delivering the deep, sonorous tonality synonymous with the Les Paul lineage. It's complemented by a maple top, ensuring a harmonious balance of warmth, depth, and precision in sound.

The neck, also hewn from mahogany, presents a vintage '50s contour that naturally conforms to the player's grip, fostering creative freedom. A rosewood fretboard, with a generous 12" radius and medium jumbo frets, is elegantly punctuated with signature acrylic trapezoid markers, amplifying the guitar's timeless charm.

For this Les Paul Standard variant, twin Burstbucker pickups are onboard: the Burstbucker 1 at the neck promises velvety, fluid tonalities, while the Burstbucker 2 at the bridge delivers crisper, punchier resonance. Orange Drop Caps and the classic independent volume and tone controls offer up a vast sonic landscape awaits exploration.

The instrument's lustrous Goldtop nitrocellulose finish with natural back and sides, not only exudes vintage charm but also safeguards the underlying timber. Rounding off its aesthetics are the Vintage Deluxe tuners set with Keystone buttons. And for assured protection, this masterpiece is accompanied by a robust Gibson hardshell casing.

In essence, the Gibson Les Paul Standard '50s Gold Top stands as an unwavering testament to Gibson's dedication to excellence, heritage, and forward-thinking craftsmanship. It's not just an instrument, but a piece of musical lore, making it an essential acquisition for guitar enthusiasts who treasure the golden eras of rock 'n' roll.

Good Basic Chair with a Few Drawbacks
Color: Black
I bought this Amazon Basics office task chair for my boyfriend who works from home. Overall, it’s a decent, simple chair that gets the job done for everyday use, especially if you just need something functional and affordable. However, there are a couple of downsides. The recline doesn’t go back as much as he would like, so it’s not ideal if you prefer to lean back and relax between tasks. Also, after about a month of use, the wheels don’t glide as smoothly as they did at first, which can be a bit frustrating when rolling across the floor. Overall, it’s a solid basic chair for light use, but if you want something with a deeper recline or super smooth mobility long-term, you might want to consider other options. Still a reasonable purchase depending on your needs.

Had for just over 9 years now and still pretty solid
Color: Black
I ordered this chair back in December 2015 for our front office, and it's been moved to our back shop where we fabricate. We're not a gentle work space by any stretch of the imagination; we build stuff and it's messy, lots of tools etc. This chair has held up surprisingly well! The faux leather is delaminating almost entirely on the seat but honestly, I'd expect that for faux leather on something that is used daily. The seat pad, in my opinion, has gotten de-poofed. So it's not plush anymore but still usable. I've asked the guy that's using it if they want an upgrade/update and they said they like it and don't want to change it out just yet. That's saying something! The size is nice and wide. We've had a range of differently sized folks sit in the chair over the years and the seat was always comfortable (less now without so much seat poof), I was able to sit cross-legged and the whole chair felt sturdy then as it does now. All of the standards functions you'd want an office chair to do, it can still do: it goes up and down smoothly, it rolls just fine, it's still pivot-reclines comfortably and doesn't feel like it's going to topple. I like it!

Good enough
Color: Black
Comfortable chair. Easy to put together. Allen nuts aren't cut perfectly so sometimes hard to get the wrench in there. My biggest complaint, and I didn't even realize this until I sat down in it, the arm rests are not adjustable and they are a little short for my liking.
