JBL L42ms Music System
The JBL L42ms is an Integrated Music System that was designed to fit today’s entertainment lifestyle by showcasing the iconic sound of a pair of JBL loudspeakers in a single cabinet system. Behind the iconic JBL Quadrex grille are a pair of dual 4-inch (100mm) woofers and dual 0.75-inch (20mm) Aluminum dome tweeters with waveguides positioned to the left and right to create a wide and even sound-field. On the outside, the L42ms comes with a stylish curved grille, tapered side edges, and is available in the classic JBL real wood veneer finishes of Black Walnut or Natural Walnut. Audio connections include two sets of analog stereo inputs (one pair RCA style and one 3.5mm input) along with one HDMI-ARC for connection to a TV with similar connection for audio signal and control. Additionally, the L42ms can play streamed content via a wired or wireless network connection via Spotify Connect, Apple Airplay2™, and Google Chromecast or connect to a device directly via Bluetooth. All audio signals are routed through an advanced DSP engine where the content is carefully contoured and output to the speakers via a four-channel amplifier delivering 75W RMS to each woofer and 25W RMS to each tweeter. The total system’s 200W RMS amplifier power can be controlled via a touch panel located on the cabinet top panel, included Bluetooth remote, or from one of many music or automation apps. Designed and Engineered at the Harman Center of Acoustics Excellence in Northridge, California, the L42ms leverages JBL’s past 75+ years of loudspeaker and electronic designs to deliver truly outstanding sound and convenience while outperforming most traditional component hi-fi systems in the process. With its incredible combination of style, size, and performance, there is simply nothing like the L42ms Music System.

Good for the $$$
Worked great on my Mercruiser Alpha One Gen 2. Once the bottom unit of the outdrive is off and cleaned it only takes a few minutes to install impeller, seals and housing. A very affordable alternative to taking it to the shop.

Fit perfectly and very complete set of parts
Had everything I needed plus some extra parts in the kit. I probably could have just replaced the impeller for slightly less but while everything was disassembled you might as well replace the works. Included - Water Pump Impeller, Housing, Key, Face Plate, Face Plate Gasket, O-Ring, Seal Face and Carrier Assembly Oil Seal

Good quality, but could have used better instructions
The kit was complete, and all the components were well made. However, if you aren't somewhat mechanical, it would be fairly easy to install the gaskets and backing plate in the wrong sequence. With better instructions, this would be a 5 star plus kit.

Don't pay boat shops for over priced services!
Boat shop wanted $400 dollars for a new water pump replacement. Got this on Amazon and watched a few utube videos. Took less then 2hrs to take apart and replace. I put it in a Alpha 1 gen 2 lower. Very simple process.
