This 1960's UK quad cinema poster double-bill has come about primarily because the films are both in Eastman Color. We particularly like the spacey treatment of the logo on "Destination Inner Space" and the monster who looks as if he has had relatives with "The Creature from the Black Lagoon". Robert Mitchum is pictured in "The Hunters" as the fighter pilot in the Korean war and the artwork pictures the jet fighters who feature prominently in the aerial scenes of the film. This was the Director and Actor Dick Powell's and May Britt retired in 1960 after marrying Sammy Davis Jr. Both the films are 'A' certificate and we have here some wonderful artwork probably by Bill Wiggins with gorgeous stone-litho print work by the Electric (Modern) Printing Co. Ltd of Manchester. Folded condition British quad film poster with no pinholes but matchstick head size holes as seen in the centre and left cross fold join. Great colours.
